Five-Spice Roast Chicken
- 1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder*
- 1 large onion
- 1 cut-up chicken
- 2 tablespoons coarse kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic
