  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh sage
  • ¾ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1 (4- to 5-lb.) whole chicken
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley

1. Preheat oven to 450°. Stir together first 7 ingredients.2. If applicable, remove giblets from chicken, and reserve for another use. Rinse chicken, and pat dry.
