Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons barbecue smoked seasoning (such as Hickory Liquid Smoke)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 (3 3/4-pound) whole roasting chicken
  • 1 (12-ounce) can beer
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

    • 3 tablespoons chili sauce
    • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
    • 3 tablespoons ketchup
    • 1 teaspoon cider vinegar
