Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 heads garlic
  • 6 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 3 1/2-pound chickens
  • 20 sprigs thyme
  • 14 sprigs rosemary
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • ½ lemon
