  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ stick unsalted butter
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 ½ tablespoons milk
  • ¼ pound coarsely grated extra-sharp Cheddar
