Glazed Cherry-Cheese Turnovers
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup powdered sugar, divided
- ¼ cup (2 ounces) 1/3-less-fat cream cheese, softened
- 16 (14 x 9-inch) sheets frozen phyllo dough, thawed
- 1 ½ cups pitted sweet cherries, coarsely chopped
- ¼ teaspoon almond extract
