  • 2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1-¼ lb. (about 4-¼ cups) all-purpose flour
  • 1 package (2-¼ tsp.) active dry yeast or 1 oz. fresh yeast
  • 1-¼ cups warm water (about 105­­°F)
  • ¼ cup olive oil; more for the bowl

Stir the yeast into the water; let sit for 15 minutes. Combine the flour and salt in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the dough hook or in a large bowl.
