6 very thin tomato slices
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
3 ounces buffalo mozzarella, cut into small pieces
3 tablespoons torn fresh basil
¹/₈ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil, divided
