Cheese Luncheon Loaf

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cup(s) milk
  • ½ teaspoon(s) Salt
  • ½ teaspoon(s) dry mustard
  • ¾ pound(s) grated or shredded cheddar cheese
  • dash of cayenne pepper
  • 5 slice(s) buttered bread, cubed

Place bread and cheese in buttered 9x13" casserole, in alternate layers. Mix eggs, milk and seasonings and pour over bread & cheese mixture. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. (May be longer). Ham (cubed) may be added to bread & cheese mixture before adding the eggs and milk. Bake 1 hour at 350°. ...
