Geyer Ham

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoon(s) brown sugar
  • 1 bay leaf
  • ½ tablespoon(s) garlic powder
  • 1 ham, uncooked, unsliced
  • 1 teaspoon(s) ground cloves
  • ¼ cup(s) herb wine vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon(s) marjoram
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • ½ teaspoon(s) thyme
    • 1 tablespoon(s) dry mustard
    • ½ tablespoon(s) chopped parsley
    • 1 ½ cup(s) white wine

Make a paste of garlic powder, parsley, dry mustard, thyme, marjoram, cloves, vinegar and brown sugar. Spread on ham. Put ham in shallow baking pan on top of the bay leaf. Pour wine in the bottom of the pan. Bake at 325° for 15 minutes per pound. Baste often.
