Ham, Corn, and Cheese Soufflé

  • ¾ cup skim milk
  • 2 teaspoons dry breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup (2 ounces) shredded reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 ½ cups fresh corn kernels (about 2 large ears)
  • ½ teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 2/3 cup diced Maple-Glazed Ham (about 3 ounces)
  • + 5 more ingredients
    • ¼ teaspoon ground red pepper
    • Vegetable cooking spray
    • 2 egg yolks
    • 1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions
    • 4 egg whites

Coat a 1 1/2-quart soufflé dish with cooking spray; sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Set aside. Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium-high heat until hot.
