  • 6 thick slices country-style bread
  • 1-½ cups 10% cream
  • 1 pinch grated nutmeg
  • 1 pinch white pepper

    • ¼ cup dry white wine
    • 6 slices Black Forest ham

Toast bread; cut off crusts, squaring corners. Cut toast, cheese and ham slices in half diagonally.
