Barbecued Pork Roast

Ingredients

  • ½ c favorite barbecue sauce
  • ¼ c Worcestershire sauce
  • Sauce:
  • ½ c ketchup
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 1 t cayenne pepper
  • 1 t salt
  • + 9 more ingredients
    • ½ t black pepper
    • 3 T mustard
    • 3 T firmly packed brown sugar
    • 1 ½ c water
    • 1 c vinegar
    • ½ c Worcestershire sauce
    • ½ c ketchup
    • 4 to 6 lb lean Boston butt, or other pork roast
    • Texas Pete or favorite seasoning, to taste

Place the pork roast in a large Dutch oven. Combine the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, water, brown sugar, mustard, salt, pepper, cayenne, and onions in a mixing bowl.
