Beef & Sausage Patties
Ingredients
- 1 Tbs. butter
- 1 Tbs. olive oil
- 1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. minced fresh rosemary
- ¾ tsp. crumbled dried sage
- 1-½ tsp. crumbled dried basil

- ¾ cup finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ½ lb. freshly ground beef
- ½ cup soft, coarse, fresh breadcrumbs (don’t use crusts)
- 3 Tbs. freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
- 1/3 cup half-and-half
- ½ lb. fresh bulk pork sausage or link sausage, lightly crumbled
In a large bowl, soak the breadcrumbs in the half-and-half until plumped and the liquid is absorbed, about 5 minutes.
