Choucroute Garnie Sauerkraut and Ham Hock
Ingredients

- 1 large onion, chopped
- salt, if needed

- 1 cup(s) dry white wine (or broth)

- 1 meaty smoked pork hock (ham hock)
- 2 tablespoon(s) oil, butter or lard
