    • 2 cups okra
    • 2 green peppers
    • 1 bunch carrots
    • 1 ½ pounds onions

    • 1 (4-pound) chicken
    • 2 pounds pork shank
    • 2 cups cabbage
    • 2 cups lima beans
    • 8 quarts cold water
    • 2 pounds veal shank
    • 1 ½ pounds potatoes
