Onion-Apricot Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 ½ teaspoons cold water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 dash ground nutmeg
  • ¼ cup orange marmalade
  • 1 ½ cups beef broth
  • ½ cup chopped dried apricots
  • 1 large onion, sliced and separated into rings
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • 4 boneless pork loin chops, ½ inch thick
    • 1 garlic clove, minced
    • 1 teaspoon minced fresh gingerroot

1. In a large skillet, brown pork chops in butter over medium-high heat. Add the onion and apricots. Combine the broth, marmalade, ginger, garlic and nutmeg; pour into skillet. Bring to a boil.
