Pan-Seared Chops with Pear and Soy-Ginger Glaze
Ingredients

- 1 ½ tablespoon(s) olive oil
- Pear Glaze:
- 1/3 cup(s) pear nectar , plus 2 tablespoons

- 4 bone-in center loin pork chops, about ¾-inch thick
- 3 tablespoon(s) soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon(s) unseasoned rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon(s) fresh ginger root, grated
- 4 firm but ripe Anjour pears, peeled, halved lengthwise, cored, and cut into ½-inch wedges
- 2 teaspoon(s) cornstarch
- ¼ teaspoon(s) cayenne
