Pan-Seared Pork Chops with Applesauce

Ingredients

  • 4 (4-ounce) boneless center-cut loin pork chops (about 1/2 inch thick)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup water
  • 4 cups sliced peeled Red Delicious apple (about 2)
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 1 teaspoon canola oil
    • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
    • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Combine the first 5 ingredients in a medium microwave-safe bowl, and toss well. Cover with plastic wrap, and microwave at HIGH 12 minutes or until tender. Cool 5 minutes.
