Pork and Pistachio Pate

Ingredients

  • 3 lb ground pork
  • ¼ c green onion, sliced
  • 1/3 c butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2/3 c dry white wine
  • 2 T white vinegar
  • ½ t salt
  • + 8 more ingredients
    • ½ t dried basil, crushed
    • ¼ t dried thyme, crushed
    • ¼ c whole pistachio nuts
    • 3 bay leaves
    • 1/3 c sour cream
    • 1/3 c mayonnaise
    • 2 T pistachio nuts, chopped
    • Party rye bread

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Cook onion in butter until tender but not browned. In large mixing bowl combine eggs, wine, vinegar, salt, basil, thyme and onion mixture. Add ground pork; mix well.
