All Purpose Rub


  • ¼ cup(s) firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon(s) kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon(s) paprika
  • 1 teaspoon(s) cumin
  • 1 teaspoon(s) oregano
  • 2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon(s) chili powder
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • 2 teaspoon(s) onion powder

Use this rub for grilling chicken, fish, pork or beef. Combine all ingredients. Store in an air-tight container. Coat the item to grill with the rub. Allow meat to sit for 30 minutes prior to grilling. Yield: 2/3 cup to season about four pounds of meat.
