Great Northern Beans With Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • ¼ pound salt pork
  • 7 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (14 1/2-ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 pound dried Great Northern beans
  • 1 tablespoon molasses

Rinse and sort beans. Bring beans, 7 cups water, and salt pork to a boil in a Dutch oven over medium heat.
