Grilled Spice-Rubbed Pork Tenderloin Steaks with Honey-Chipotle Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 3 Tbs. tomato paste
  • 2 large pork tenderloins (2 to 2-½ lb. total)
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 Tbs. chili powder
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
    • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
    • 1 chipotle, minced, plus 2 Tbs. adobo sauce (from a can of chipotles in adobo sauce)
    • ½ cup honey

Trim the pork of any silverskin and excess fat, and cut each tenderloin on the diagonal into four pieces about 2 inches thick.
