Hoisin-Braised Pork, Mushrooms and Green Beans on Noodles

  • 8 ounces green beans
  • 1 ½ cups green onions
  • 1 cup canned low-salt chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon oriental sesame oil
  • 1 9-ounce package fresh egg linguine
  • 2 1/4-inch-thick rounds of peeled fresh ginger
  • 1 pound fresh shiitake mushrooms
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • 2 teaspoons Chinese five-spice powder
    • 1 ½ pounds well-trimmed boneless pork shoulder (Boston butt)
    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
