  • 4 ciabatta or Portuguese rolls
  • 4 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 4 pork cutlets (¾ pound total)
  • Coarse salt and ground pepper

    • ½ cup dried breadcrumbs
    • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
    • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
