  • ½ cup dry red wine
  • 3 pounds pork shoulder, cut into 1-inch cubes*
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • Natural or synthetic casings, prepared for use per instructions
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
    • 1 tablespoon shortening
    • 3 teaspoons salt
