  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened apple juice
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
