  • 2/3 cup(s) milk
  • 2 tablespoon(s) baking powder

  • 1 ½ cup(s) flour

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add shortening, milk and flavoring. Beat two minutes. Add 1 egg and beat 1 minute. Bake at 350 for 35 - 40 minutes.
