“1929 Gateau au Chocolat” aka Depression Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 oz bittersweet chocolate (70 g)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 whole egg
