    • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
    • ½ cup sugar
    • 2 large egg yolks
    • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
    • 2 tablespoons whipping cream
    • ½ teaspoon baking powder
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • 4 cups almond paste,** crumbled
