Almond, Apricot, and Cherry Tart

Ingredients

  • 9 medium apricots
  • 3 tablespoons cake flour
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 ounces almond paste
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • 20 cherries
    • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • 1/3 cup whole almonds
    • 1 large egg
    • 3 ½ tablespoons unsalted butter

Blend first 3 ingredients in processor until almonds are finely ground. Using electric mixer, beat butter and powdered sugar in medium bowl until blended. Beat in egg.
