  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup sliced almonds
  • ½ cup canned almond paste
