  • 1 Tbs. Grand Marnier (optional)
  • 2 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
  • 4 oz. (¾ cup plus 2 Tbs.) all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbs. granulated sugar
  • ¾ lb. strawberries, hulled and sliced (about 3 cups)
  • 1-½ cups granulated sugar
  • Lightly sweetened whipped cream, for serving
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 1-½ tsp. pure vanilla extract
    • Pinch kosher salt
    • 1-½ cups egg whites (from 11 large eggs)
