  • 1 pound dried capellini (angel-hair pasta)
  • ½ cup fresh basil
  • finely grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3 pounds tomatoes
  • 1 small garlic clove
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • ½ teaspoon black pepper
    • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
    • extra-virgin olive oil
