  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 pounds Gala apples
  • 2/3 cup dark brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • ½ pound fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • + 2 more ingredients
