Ingredients

  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ cup (1/8 lb.) butter, chilled, plus 1/2 cup (1/4 lb.)
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • ¾ cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • + 7 more ingredients
    • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
    • ¼ cup sugar
    • ¾ cup milk
    • 1 tablespoon baking powder
    • 2 Granny Smith apples (about 12 oz. total)
    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
