Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 slices pumpernickel bread
  • 1 head red leaf lettuce
  • ½ pound bacon slices
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries
  • ½ cup crumbled Roquefort
  • 1 Granny Smith apple
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 1 tablespoon Sherry vinegar
    • ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard

Cook bacon in a 12-inch heavy skillet over moderate heat, stirring, until crisp, about 5 minutes.
