Ingredients

• milk
• 4 teaspoon(s) shortening
• 1 tablespoon(s) ice water
• 1 tart apple, peeled and sliced
• 1 teaspoon(s) sugar
• ¹/₈ teaspoon(s) cinnamon
• 2 tablespoon(s) powdered sugar

In a small bowl, combine flour and salt; cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle with ice water and toss with a fork. Form into a ball.
