  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ cup brandy
  • 1 cup pitted prunes
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup old-fashioned oats
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • 6 McIntosh apples
    • vanilla ice cream

Preheat oven to 425°F. Bring brandy to a boil in a small saucepan and remove from heat. Stir in prunes and let stand while making topping.
