Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 ¾ cups flour
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 4 ounces chopped bittersweet chocolate
  • 1 cup sugar
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • ½ teaspoon baking powder
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • ¾ cup diced dried apricots, preferably Blenheim

1. Preheat oven to 350° and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. In a food processor, pulse flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt 5 to 6 times to blend.
