Ingredients

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Gruyère cheese, divided*
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 medium leeks
  • 3 thick hickory-smoked bacon slices
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme**
