  • 2 cups grated Cheddar (8 oz.)
  • ½ pound bacon, cooked until crisp, crumbled
  • ½ cup milk
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 ½ cups frozen peas, thawed (6 oz.)
  • 4 (6 oz.) baking potatoes

Preheat oven to 450°F. Scrub potatoes, dry well and pierce several times with a fork. Microwave for 4 minutes on high. Turn potatoes over and cook for 4 more minutes.
