Baked Cinnamon Apple French Toast


  • 1 loaf of french bread sliced thick
  • 6 eggs beaten with ¼ cup milk
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 apples or pears sliced thin
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • ½ cup raisins
    • ½ cup brown sugar
    • 2 tbsp of melted butter

Add vanilla, cinnamon, salt and sugar to eggs and beat well. In a baking pan large enough to accomodate the sliced french bread (you should get at least 12 slices) layer on bottom of pan, brown sugar, raisins and sliced apples or pears and melted butter.
