Baked Eggs and Cheese (Savory Eggs)


  • 12 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 2 tablespoon(s) prepared mustard
  • 1 cup(s) heavy cream or evaporated milk
  • 4 tablespoon(s) butter or margarine
  • 2 cup(s) grated Cheddar Cheese

Sprinkle cheese in bottom of 9" x 13" pan. Dot with butter. Mix cream, mustard, salt, and pepper. Pour half over cheese layer. Beat eggs, pour in pan. Add rest of cream-mustard mixture. Bake about 25 minutes at 325. Cut in squares and serve hot. Serves 12
