Baked Pears Stuffed with Walnuts


  • ¼ cup light corn syrup
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 ½ tablespoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoon chopped California walnuts
  • ¼ cup raisins
  • 4 pears, ripe and firm

Peel the pears, leaving the stems on. Core the pears on the blossom end (the bottom).
