Baked Pears


  • 4 strips orange zest
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 4 stick(s) cinnamon
  • 2 cup(s) Riesling white wine, or other fruity white wine
  • ¼ cup(s) honey
  • 6 ripe pears, preferable Bosc

Wash pears, removing stems. Cut a thin slice off the bottom of each pear so they stand upright. Arrange the pears in a large glass pie pan or baking dish.
