Baked Ziti with Italian Sausage Recipe

Ingredients

  • ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • Kosher Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
  • 2 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 cup chopped kalamata olives
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh basil
  • 4 cups Ziti, cooked al dente
  • 1 can (28 oz.) crushed plum tomatoes
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • ½ cup red wine
    • 3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
    • 1 medium onion, chopped
    • 1 small eggplant, cut into ½ inch cubes
    • 1 pkg (19 oz.) Johnsonville® Sweet Italian Sausage, casings removed, (can use mild or hot sausage)
    • 3 Tbsp. olive oil
