Balsamic-Glazed Grilled Sweet Onions
- ½ tsp. kosher salt; more to taste
- ½ tsp. crushed pink peppercorns (optional)
- 1 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbs. chopped fresh thyme leaves
- 2 lb. sweet onions (such as Vidalia, Walla Walla, Maui, or Texas Sweet)
- Olive oil for grilling
