  • 1 lb. cremini (baby bella) mushrooms, cleaned and quartered (see tip, right)
  • 2 Tbs. extra-virgin olive oil
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp. dark brown sugar
  • 1 to 2 tsp. minced garlic
  • Kosher salt
  • 1 Tbs. balsamic vinegar
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • 2 Tbs. unsalted butter
