Barbecue Sauce for Spare Ribs


  • ½ cup(s) finely chopped onion
  • ¼ cup(s) prepared mustard
  • ½ cup(s) Karo syrup
  • ¼ cup(s) cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup(s) Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup(s) ketchup

Bring all to a boil. Reduce heat and boil gently to thicken; approximately 1/2 hour. Brush on meat. Boil ribs until pretty tender. Then put ribs in shallow plan and pour sauce over. Put in oven for a while.
